Wow, Final 6! When I first started this game, I wasn't sure if I'd make it to this point. It's my first game since coming back out of ORG semi-retirement and I thought I might have been rusty or too busy with everything going on IRL. But, here we are, in the Final 6. And, as long as I don't get duped, I think I stand a really good shot at making the F2.

This round is going to be maybe the trickiest, since I'm not eligible to compete for HOH and I'm relying on Billi or JJ to pull out a win. I feel a bit safer (hopefully) since Lori and Dan both promised that they wouldn't put me up this week if they got HOH if we went through with the plan to backdoor Dino. So, hypothetically, the only person who I really have to worry about getting HOH is Jessica. I can't possibly see that happening, but stranger things have happened in this game. Let's go anyone but Jessica!!

Well, Lori narrowly beat out JJ for HOH. This could be bad but it could actually work out really well. Thankfully, Billi thought to make a deal that he and I would be safe if Lori or Dan won HOH this week. Lori seems willing to stick to that, so here's hoping that I'm safe! Plus, now she can't compete in the F5 HOH, which will mean that me, Billi, and JJ (if all of us are still around) will only be competing with Jessica and/or Dan for HOH. Those are really good odds for us next week! I'm hoping Lori just works to get rid of Jessica this week, though if JJ is up, the temptation to boot him might be strong...though I still will need his support and vote to get further, so it might be too early to burn him.

So, Dino approached me about his elimination and I decided to be honest and upfront with him, since I knew it'd get back around to him anyway. He seems to be OK with it and level-headed, which I was happy about. Here's hoping this can turn into a jury vote since I was honest and someone else may have lied to him about it:

A very interesting PM exchange between me and Lori. She's trying to double promise me safety this round so she can get safety last round (which she got) and now safety next round. WTF.

I just wanted to say that I am keeping you safe this week and in return you keep me safe next week right?

No replacement nom for you and no nom for you, and in return if you win hoh next week no nominee and if pov is used or not, no replacement nominate me.

So both of us on the block under 0 circumstances, we have a great shot at going far in this game, esp if you win HoH so please let's keep hitting it, final 4 is just around the corner.....so we cool on that?

Hey Lori, thanks for keeping me safe this week! One question: I thought that me staying safe this round was already part of the deal that we made in the chat last round - Billi saved you, I put up Dino as the replacement, and we made sure he went. In exchange for that, I was supposed to be safe from nomination this round in the event that you or Dan got HOH, which is what has happened.

Clearly, I'm interested in making future deals since they're so important at this stage of the game, but is it silly of me to want something more for keeping you safe next round than what you've already promised me for this round? I guess I feel like you're getting two things (safety last round/Dino out + safety next round) for only one thing that I'm getting (you not putting me up this round). If you want to extend our agreement to something like: you're safe in F5 round with me if I'm safe in F4 round with you, then I think that's more fair and probably something we'd both be interested in anyway. What do you think?

Hooray, I got a key! This makes me the only person in the game to have never been nominated as of yet. I'm proud!

Of course, the nominations ended up as we assumed they would be from the start - JJ and Jessica. Assuming the nominations stay the same, Billi and I will control this vote and decide who goes home. I just won veto! Yeah! Lori has PMed me twice, once before the veto results were revealed and once after to ask me to keep the nominations the same. Even though I can't stand Lori, that's what I was going to do anyway so maybe I'll play up to her that I'm still on her side. I can't believe that stupid bitch wanted to backdoor me.

So, let's think about this. If I use the veto on JJ, Billi likely goes up. I trust JJ about 95% that he'll vote with me to keep Billi. If I don't use the veto, I trust 100% that Billi will vote with me to keep JJ. The math is simple really - keeping the noms as JJ/Jessica (a) keeps Lori thinking I'm on her side and (b) ensures that Jessica goes home this week. Done and done. I just hope that JJ doesn't stress out too much between when I don't use the veto and when Jessica is sent packing. I wonder how Dan will vote...or whether we should even include him? I know that after I leave the noms the same, Lori is going to campaign for JJ to go and will probably require that Billi vote her way. Him breaking that promise to her will get her against him and not me, which could be good...though that won't matter because there is a huge chance that she is gone next round, unless she wins the F5 veto.

hey jj - sorry i've been off IM all weekend. my parents are in town and we were out sightseeing all day in the city. i just saw that i won the veto for us - yay! so, i had a long talk with billi and he has committed his vote to keep you. because of that, i think it's smartest for the alliance between me/you that i don't use the veto to keep things under wraps. i promise 100% that you will still be here after this eviction and that jessica will be going home this round. we're in such a good spot and i'm excited about our chances of making it all the way!

You're really invisible, however, and you haven't even fought to stay and haven't upped your social game since Dino (your shield) left last week. I was hoping you'd come out of your shell, but that really hasn't happened.

JJ, you're one of my strongest allies in this game and I'm a huge fan of yours. I worry, though, that you could be playing this game too well and that you could have the needle perfectly threaded on the social game. I don't know that I could beat you in a F2 situation, but I think it is probably too early to boot you at the F6. Right?

I vote to evict JESSICA. Sorry, but I can't imagine going into a F5 of me and Billi vs. Lori, Dan, and Jessica. Ugh. I much prefer my odds in a F5 of me, JJ, and Billi vs. Lori and Dan.

So, as predicted, Lori not only wants the HOH to go her way, but the noms, the veto, and the eviction. Her need for control is growing tiresome only because she has no power behind it. So, even though I never promised her I'd vote anyone out this round, she's trying to twist my arm into voting out JJ and preconfirming my vote. As if. I played dumb and said I'd have to talk to Billi and Dan about the vote. Clearly, Billi and I are voting out Jessica, and I haven't figured out yet if I'm going to tell Lori that before or after the eviction votes are revealed. Well, I guess she'll find out sooner rather than later. I just know that after Jessica gets the boot, she's going to get all self-righteous, remind us that we're in the jury phase of BBLoriAutomaticallyGetsToWin, and then get paranoid when she realizes she doesn't get to play for HOH this week. Sucks to be her.

PS - In the conversation below, when she calls me a "beast" in the POV, I'm pretty sure that's code for "shit, I wanted to backdoor you, but now I can't!" Suck it, Lori.
